  8. Kid Rock has gone after Oprah Winfrey again. The musician, whose real is Robert James Ritchie, took to Twitter on Friday to explain why he went on a drunken rant about her at a bar during the week. "My people tried to get me to do The Oprah Winfrey show years ago and her people wanted me to write down 5 reasons why I loved her and her show… I said f**k that and her. End of story," he wrote. The 48-year-old was escorted off stage at the Big A-- Honky Tonk Rock N' Roll Steakhouse in Nashville -- which he owns -- when he yelled into the microphone, "F--- Oprah." "Oprah Winfrey is like 'Hey, I just want women to believe in this sh--'. F--- her. She can s--- d--- sideways," he added, according to video obtained by TMZ, which released it on Friday. The crowd didn't approve of Kid Rock's message. In the video, someone can be heard saying, "He's racist. Look at him he's blacked-out drunk as f---.'" Apparently Kid Rock has never liked Oprah because back in 2008, he told The Independent magazine, "I just don’t believe her. Maybe it's because I'm not one of the 150 million brainwashed women who heed her every word."
  9. Kate Beckinsale isn't letting the colder weather bother her. The actress, 46, is currently on vacation with a male friend and is showing off her incredible bikini body in a variety of swimsuits. First, Beckinsale showed off her long legs in black high-waisted bottoms with criss-cross detail at the waist and a bandeau top. "Out of office," she captioned the photo.
  10. Former NFL player Colin Kaepernick had an odd way of celebrating Thanksgiving, attending an event that appeared to serve as a rebuke to the holiday and the United States. On Thursday, Kaepernick spoke at the "Indigenous People's Sunrise Ceremony," also known as "Unthanksgiving," on Alcatraz Island in San Francisco, California. The event is intended to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Native Americans occupying the famous island, which previously served as the site of a federal prison. "Spent the morning at the Indigenous People’s Sunrise Ceremony on the 50 year anniversary of the Occupation of Alcatraz," Kaepernick tweeted on Thanksgiving day. "The US government has stolen over 1.5 billion acres of land from Indigenous people. Thank you to my Indigenous family, I’m with you today and always." Kaepernick is no stranger to controversy and has been out of the NFL since the 2016 season. He started a national firestorm when he decided to kneel during the national anthem before games to raise awareness about perceived social injustices across the U.S. He accused NFL owners in a grievance of blackballing him from the league because of the anthem protest, but the two sides settled earlier this year. He tweeted a video of a man proclaiming that Native Americans were taking the land by "right of discovery." The video also appeared to show him speaking to celebrants on the island. 14.8K people are talking about this "It's been 50 years since the occupation," Kaepernick said. "And that struggle has continued for that 50 years ... It's our responsibility to honor our ancestors and honor our elders by carrying on that struggle. Don't let their sacrifices be in vain. That's why it's important for all of us to be here today -- to show that we're together, that we're unified, that we have that solidarity. And I hope to spend many more of these with you." Kaepernick also apparently attended the event in 2017. 25.3K people are talking about this Kaepernick also retweeted an article by Washington Post writer Christopher Petrella who indicated Thanksgiving was racist. "Antebellum campaigns to establish Thanksgiving as nat’l holiday grew up alongside colonizationist efforts to remove free Black people from U.S. Nationalization advocates mobilized white fears of Black equality to build support for holiday," he said in the post retweeted by Kaepernick. Kaepernick released a hype video Monday, days after he worked out for a handful of NFL teams at an Atlanta-area high school in hopes of making a still-elusive return to the league. The video showed Kaepernick launching passes to receivers during his workout at Charles Drew High School. It also included a message to the media after his workout that he was ready to come back and compete again in the NFL. There have been conflicting reports on whether any NFL teams are interested in the quarterback after his midseason workout. ESPN reported Sunday that no teams have reached out to Kaepernick to work him out further, while his attorney appeared on Adam Carolla’s podcast last week and said at least two teams were interested. The attorney didn’t specify which teams.
  11. A top aide to Kamala Harris gave a damning assessment of the California senator’s struggling campaign in her resignation letter, declaring that she has never seen an organization “treat its staff so poorly” and accused the campaign of encouraging people to move across states -- only to lay them off without notice. “This is my third presidential campaign and I have never seen an organization treat its staff so poorly,” Kelly Mehlenbacher, then the state operations director for Harris’ campaign, said in the letter obtained by The New York Times. “While I still believe that Senator Harris is the strongest candidate to win in the General Election in 2020, I no longer have confidence in our campaign or its leadership.” She went on to criticize the campaign in blistering terms for pushing staffers to move to Baltimore, only to let them go without notice. “It is not acceptable to me that we encouraged people to move from Washington, DC to Baltimore only to lay them off with no notice, with no plan for the campaign, and without thoughtful consideration of the personal consequences to them or the consequences that their absence would have on the remaining staff,” the letter says. Mehlenbacher has since joined former New York City Michael Bloomberg's campaign, joining as deputy chief operating officer. She had previously worked on Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign. The letter forms part of an in-depth report, featuring interviews with dozens of current and former aides, by the Times. The article marks how Harris, once surging at the top of the polls, has since plummeted amid a reportedly dysfunctional and often headless campaign. The article points to a campaign that has not been able to afford TV advertising and has struggled to handle attacks from other Democrats, such as Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii. The Harris campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News, but campaign manager Juan Rodriguez issued a statement to the Times. "Our team, from the candidate to organizers across the country, are working day in and out to make sure Kamala is the nominee to take on Donald Trump and end the national nightmare that is his presidency,” he said. “Just like every campaign, we have made tough decisions to have the resources we need to place in Iowa and springboard into the rest of the primary calendar.” According to the RealClearPolitics average of polls for the nomination, Harris was in second place in early July, commanding an average of 15 percent of primary voters. But since then, she has declined quickly. Now, RCP polls have her with an average of just under 4 percent — far behind candidates such as former Vice President Joe Biden (27 percent), Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt. (18.3 percent), Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass. (15.8 percent), and South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg (11 percent).

  16. A majority of Republicans say President Trump is a better leader than former President Abraham Lincoln, according to this week’s Economist/YouGov weekly tracking poll. Fifty-three percent of Republicans said Trump was a better president when compared to Lincoln, while 47 percent chose the Civil War-era leader. Lincoln still overwhelmingly beats Trump among all Americans, 75 percent to 25 percent, with the vast majority of Democrats and Independents choosing the former president. While impeachment and other controversies surrounding Trump continue to dominate headlines, polls have shown the president maintaining a strong approval rating among Republicans. The Economist/YouGov poll found that 87 percent of those in the GOP either somewhat or strongly approve of the job he’s doing as president. Trump in the past has boasted of his approval rating within the party, comparing it to Lincoln. “You know, a poll just came out that I am the most popular person in the history of the Republican Party,” Trump said in a July interview with The Sun newspaper in the U.K. “Beating Lincoln,” Trump added, without clarifying to which poll he was referring. “I beat our Honest Abe.” The Economist/YouGov weekly tracking poll surveyed 1,500 Americans from Nov. 24-26 and has a margin of error of 2.8 percent.
  17. Consumers aren’t waiting for Cyber Monday sales to begin their holiday shopping. On Black Friday, shoppers spent a record-breaking $7.4 billion, according to preliminary data published by Adobe Analytics, which measures transactions from 80 of the top 100 online retailers. It marks the second-largest online sales day ever, falling slightly short of last year’s Cyber Monday, during which consumers dropped $7.9 billion. On average, shoppers spent a staggering $5.3 million per minute in online purchases on Friday. “Consumers flocked online on this Black Friday to take advantage of both new discounts and deals from earlier this week,” Taylor Schreiner, Adobe’s principal analyst and head of Adobe Digital Insights, said in a statement. E-commerce behemoths were the biggest beneficiaries of the shopping holiday, scoring a 46 percent boost in sales this season, compared to an 18 percent increase for smaller retailers. Still, consumers are expected to spend even more on Cyber Monday, potentially notching a new record with an estimated $9.4 billion in sales, an 18.9 percent increase from last year. A shopper leaves Macy's in Boston, Friday, Nov. 29, 2019. Black Friday once again kicked off the start of the holiday shopping season. (AP Photo/Michael Dwyer) Overall, the National Retail Federation expects sales in November and December to hit up to $730.7 billion, a nearly 4.2 percent from 2018. On average, consumers expect to spend $1,047.83, including purchases made earlier, for an increase of 4 percent. The full holiday season is six days shorter than is typical, because Thanksgiving fell on the fourth Thursday in November, the last possible date it could be. More than half of consumers said they already began shopping, making almost a quarter of purchases, according to a separate survey released by the NRF. “This is further evidence that the holiday season has grown far beyond the period between Thanksgiving and Christmas,” NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay said in a statement. On Thanksgiving Day, consumers spent a whopping $4.2 billion online, a 14.5 percent from last year and a record high. This marks the first time that Thanksgiving shopping has surpassed $4 billion.
  18. Even as Americans trend toward fresher and healthier foods, they are wanting it faster. Researchers estimate the U.S. fast-food market is worth a total somewhere between $250 billion and $300 billion. And that market has grown more than 4 percent between 2014 and 2019, according to IBISWorld analysts. Chains like Pizza Hut have been revamping older sitdown restaurants in favor of smaller, faster delivery- and takeout–oriented locations. With all that money on the line, it’s not hard to see why convenience-focused chains would want to have many locations available to their customers. Every year, QSR Magazine looks at how many locations each fast-food brand has and whether each is growing or retracting. Here are the 10 biggest chains in America now, according to QSR: 10. Dairy Queen The “grill and chill” chain had 4,406 locations at the end of 2018, all but two of which were franchised. That was a drop of 49 units compared with a year earlier. The brand saw U.S. sales of $3.6 billion last year. 9. Domino’s (AP Photo/Alan Diaz, File) The pizza chain had 5,876 locations, including 390 company stores. That was an increase of 258 locations compared with a year earlier. The pizzeria made $6.6 billion in U.S. sales last year. HOW FAST FOOD CHAINS ARE FEEDING ON HEALTHY DIETS 8. Taco Bell (REUTERS/Mike Blake) The Americanized Mexican-food chain has 6,588 locations, 462 of which are owned by the company. That was an increase of 142 locations. The brand made $10.3 billion in U.S. sales last year. 7. Wendy’s The burger joint that promises “fresh, never frozen” beef has 6,711 locations, including 353 company stores. That was up by 353 compared with a year earlier. The chain had $9.9 billion in sales last year. GET FOX BUSINESS ON THE GO BY CLICKING HERE 6. Burger King (AP Photo/Jeff Chiu, File) The “home of the Whopper” has 7,327 locations, 49 of which are owned by the King. That was an increase of 49 stores. The company made $9.9 billion in U.S. sales last year. 5. Pizza Hut (REUTERS/Mario Anzuoni) The stuffed-crust pizzeria has 7,456 locations, including 24 owned by the company. That was a drop of 24 restaurants from a year earlier. The brand’s U.S. sales totaled $5.5 billion for the year. PIZZA HUT CLOSING HUNDREDS OF RESTAURANTS AS IT PUSHES DELIVERY 4. Dunkin’ “America runs” to 9,419 Dunkin’ locations, all of which are franchised. That was an increase of 278 stores. The brand had $8.8 billion in sales last year. 3. McDonald’s (AP Photo/Alan Diaz, File) The golden arches have 13,914 locations, including 685 company stores. That was a drop of 122 locations compared with a year earlier. The brand brought in $38.5 billion in U.S. sales last year. CHICK-FIL-A TAKES BITE OUT OF IN-N-OUT, NAMED AMERICA’S FAVORITE FAST FOOD RESTAURANT 2. Starbucks (AP Photo/Matt Slocum) The seemingly ubiquitous coffee shop has 14,825 locations, the majority of which — 8,493 — are owned by the company. That was an increase of 895 stores from a year earlier. The company’s U.S. stores made $19.7 billion in sales last year. 1. Subway The sandwich chain has Americans “eating fresh” at 24,798 locations, all of which are franchised, more shops than any other quick-service restaurant chain. The company made $10.4 billion in U.S. sales last year.
  19. Hunter Biden filed a protective order this week in an effort to seal his financial records from being released publicly -- amid his fears that the information would be used “maliciously” by the media and cause him public “embarrassment,” according to a report. Former Vice President Joe Biden’s son filed the motion in Arkansas on Wednesday as part of an ongoing child support suit, according to the Daily Mail. His attorneys claim the details would be used by the media, considering his high public profile, to cause him "undue prejudice, annoyance, embarrassment, and/or oppression." 'The likelihood that [Biden's] private records will be used in an inappropriate or malicious manner for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with these proceedings is exceedingly high and should not be tolerated by the court,' the filing reads. 'Due to the extraordinary circumstances surrounding the parties involved in this matter, it is in the interest of justice and necessary for a Protective Order to be in place,' Biden's attorney says. An earlier court filing in the case alleged that DNA tests confirm with “scientific certainty” that Hunter is the biological father of a child whose mother he denied having sex with. A paternity suit filed by Lunden Alexis Roberts was first filed on May 28 when she alleged that she and Hunter Biden “were in a relationship” and that “Baby Doe” was born in August 2018 “as a result of that relationship,” according to reports by The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. Roberts is demanding $11,000 in legal fees as well as child support, and has agreed that a protective order is appropriate, according to the Mail. In a sworn statement, Biden goes on to say that he has incurred “significant debts” in part due to his 2017 divorce from Kathleen Biden, that he is unemployed and has had no monthly income since May 2019. The suit comes amid increased scrutiny on Hunter over his links to a Ukrainian energy company where he once sat on the board. An apparent effort by White House officials and President Trump to get Ukraine to launch investigations into Hunter’s link to the company -- and Biden Sr.’s push in 2016 to get a prosecutor fired who had investigated the company -- is the current focus of an impeachment inquiry in the House. The former VP was asked about the paternity suit on the campaign trail last week, and called it a “private matter” on which he had no comment.
