Two facing charges after marijuana is found growing inside apartment

Two people are facing charges after officials find marijuana growing inside a local apartment.

According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a disturbance at an apartment in Okaloosa Island where during a protective sweep of the unit, they found marijuana growing inside, as well as half a pound of marijuana and a firearm.

Leeann Pabon and Favian Pabon are charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, cultivation of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

They are also facing other charges related to outstanding warrants.
