admin Posted September 28, 2018 Share Posted September 28, 2018 Panama City, Fla. - A Panama City man tortured a kitten during an argument with his ex-wife as she tried to move out of the home the still shared, according to Bay County Sheriff's Office. According to an arrest affidavit Adam Barnes held on "tight" to a 5-month-old kitten while his ex-wife and her friend attempted to move out of the home. He would then give his ex-wife verbal commands and when she did not comply he would "twist it's head until it would make a screaming noise." Eventually, Barnes attacked his ex-wife and her friend, deputies wrote. In a separate incident that happened the night before Barnes tied a different cat up with a rope and hung it upside down while the cat was, "screaming and squirming, trying to get away," deputies wrote.
