Guest Dwight C
Man found guilty of killing Arnold High School student last year Demarcus Giddens, who is accused of shooting and killing Arnold High School student Ian Price last year, has been found guilty by a Bay County jury. In August 2017, Price was with a group of teenagers who were involved in a drug deal with Giddens, Gertavious Canada and Rodney Jones. During that drug deal, Price was shot and killed in the parking lot of the CVS in Panama City Beach. Canada and Jones both took plea deals to testify against Giddens. That happened Tuesday. Jones said Giddens had planned on robbing the group of teens they were meeting. Thursday, Giddens took the stand, claiming he shot Price in self-defense. Giddens sentencing is set for October 2nd. He faces a mandatory life sentence.
