Mike Watkins was arrested around 4:18 a.m. Saturday. He's being charged with DUI. His first Court appearance was over the weekend and he's out on bond. Here is what the district had to say about it: "We are aware of a weekend incident involved Bay High School's Head Football Coach Mike Watkins and we're addressing it, as we always do, through our Human Resources Department and the administration at Bay High School. Coach Watkins is currently suspended with pay while we work through this process. We do hold our employees to the highest of moral standards and we expect them to conduct themselves as role models for our students so any negative involvement with law enforcement, by any of our employees, is always very disappointing. I guess that he will try to get it reduced, but with the number of Uber drivers, taxi's and possibly his family and friends, he should never ever have been driving.
