Wisconsin man faces charges of child abuse after shooting needle darts at kids

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - A judge set a $1,000 cash bond for a Columbia County, Wisconsin man accused of shooting his stepchildren with needle-tipped Nerf darts.

Brian Alexander appeared by jail video in a Columbia County courtroom on September 10.

Alexander faces three counts of physical abuse of a child.

The Columbia County Sheriff's office said during the arrest, they found the Nerf gun and the Nerf darts - which had needles attached to the ends.

The alleged victims in the case are between six and nine years old.
Police say Alexander may have been shooting his stepchildren with darts for over a year.

He will appear again in court on November 16.
