Kramer
Facebook Inc. is making it easier for users to control their personal data by making privacy settings and tools easier to find, the company said on Wednesday, in the wake of a data leak that exposed the data of millions of Americans that also may have been used by British political consultancy firm Cambridge Analytica. “We’ve heard loud and clear that privacy settings and other important tools are too hard to find and that we must do more to keep people informed … Most of these updates have been in the works for some time, but the events of the past several days underscore their importance,” Erin Egan, chief privacy officer, and Ashlie Beringer, deputy general counsel, said in a blog post.
